Obituary: Patricia Marie Perkey

Patricia Marie Perkey, Nee Keane, of Lemont, died on April 9, 2024, at the age of 91.

She was the devoted wife of the late Edward A. Perkey, Sr., and the loving mother of Edward A., Jr. (Karen J.) Perkey and Barbara Ellen (Mike Sr.) Kardas.

She was also the cherished grandmother of Kandace Marie (Anthony) Sasak, Valerie Ann (Daniel) Casey, Erin Elizabeth Perkey–Love (Kevin Love), Kelly Ann Kardas, and Michael Kardas, Jr., and the dearest great-grandmother of Molly Ann Casey, Jack Casey, Koraline Sasak, Lennon Love, and the late Anthony Sasak.

Additionally, she was the beloved sister of Martin (Ellen) Keane and Rosemary (Late Joseph) Hickey and the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Petkus Lemont Funeral Home, 12401 South Archer Avenue, in Lemont. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Saint Alphonsus Church, 215 E. Logan Street, in Lemont.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Offering in Patricia’s name may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation and will be deeply appreciated.
