Ruby Whiskers Fundraiser, Cat Adoption Pop-Up To Be Held This Weekend
Local residents can support the Lemont animal rescue by dining at Mama D's on Saturday and can also adopt a new cat at a Homer Glen shop.
LEMONT, IL — Ruby Whiskers Pet Rescue will be offering local residents the chance to support the local animal rescue while also being able to adopt a new cat just in time for Mother’s Day with a pair of upcoming events.
Local residents can support Ruby Whiskers on Saturday when they dine at Mama D’s in Lemont between 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Diners who mention Ruby Whiskers specifically will have 20 percent of their bill go to support the animal shelter.
The restaurant is located at 12420 Archer Ave. in Lemont.

On Saturday, Ruby Whiskers will have a walk-up cat adoption event, which will be held at Pet Supplies Plus, which is located at 12845 W. 143rd St. in Homer Glen.
The event will run from 12-4 p.m. and adoptions will be approved on-site. Photos of cats up for adoption at the event are available on the Ruby Whiskers website.
