1 Killed, 7 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash
The collision happened Sunday night in North Chicago. A 24-year-old North Chicago man was killed in the crash.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — One of eight people injured in a two-vehicle collision over the weekend has died, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash happened at about 8:10 p.m. Sunday when a GMC Suburban and a Chevy Silverado collided in the 1400 block of Grove Avenue in North Chicago, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.
Two people were critically injured in the crash and six others were injured. One of the men seriously hurt, Giovanni Robinson, 24, died in the intensive care unit at Advocate Condell Medical Center on Monday, authorities said.

Robinson, of North Chicago, died from blunt force injuries sustained in the collision, according to the news release.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
