3 Killed, 1 Injured In Zion House Fire
The blaze broke out late Tuesday night at a home in the 2900 block of Enoch Avenue in Zion.
ZION, IL — Three people were killed and one person was injured in a house fire in Zion last Tuesday night.
The blaze broke out at a two-story home in the 2900 block of Enoch Avenue in Zion, according to a news release from the Zion Fire & Rescue Department. When fire crews arrived at the scene, they found heavy fire coming from several areas of the home.
Emergency crews found three people inside the home who they were not able to resuscitate and who did not survive, fire officials said. One woman was taken to Vista East Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation.

It took firefighters four hours to put out the blaze, according to the news release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
