Acrylics Class, 'Harry Potter' Celebration and More This Week

Learn About Acrylics 

The District 128 Community Education program will offer a class about acrylics starting Nov. 6. The classes will be held Wednesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 6 through Dec. 11. Tuition is $95. For information, visit the Community Education program website. 

Celebrate 15 Years of "Harry Potter"

The Cook Park Library will host a celebration of the "Harry Potter" series from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Nov. 9. The children's department of the library will be transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For more information, contact the library at (847) 362-2330.

Holiday Boutique

The Lake County Haven will hold its 16th annual Holiday Boutique Nov. 8-9 from noon to 4 p.m. The VIP night on Nov. 8 is $65 per person, while the open house on Nov. 9 is $15 per person and will feature food, wine and shopping. RSVP by calling Liz at (847) 680-1703.
