'Charlotte's Web' Performances, Fire Station Open House This Weekend

"Charlotte's Web"

The Jr. Encore Theatre will present "Charlotte's Web: The Musical" at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 and 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church. Fire Station Open House

The Libertyville Fire Department will hold an open house from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the main fire station, 1551 N. Milwaukee Ave. Children can slide down a fire pole, climb inside a fire truck and learn how to escape a kitchen house fire. The event is part of Fire Prevention Week.

Pumpkin Farms and More

Want to check out a pumpkin farm or corn maze this weekend? Patch has put together a map of the local pumpkin farms, corn mazes and fall festivals. As for the weather, there's a 40 percent chance of showers on Saturday, but Sunday should be beautiful, with a high near 67 and sunny skies.
