Corporate Center To Replace Driving Range In Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A former village-owned mini-golf and driving range located at the busy corner of Route 45 and Peterson Road has been removed to make way for a new corporate center in Libertyville.

The Libertyville 45 Corporate Center will be located on about 19 acres of the former village-owned portion of the Libertyville Sports Complex and will include about 334,299 square feet of warehouse/industrial space in two buildings, according to the Daily Herald. Canlan Sports bought the indoor portion of the sports complex earlier this year, which will be just north of the new corporate center.

Heather Rowe, the village's economic development manager, told the Daily Herald each building will house one or several business, which could include businesses focused on office, light manufacturing, research and development, according to the article.

The project officially got underway last week.
