But, as we all know, avoiding bad breath is important—that is, unless your goal is to keep people at a safe distance. Then, by all means, rock on with your "bad breath" self.Â
All joking aside, WebMD offers some tips on how to avoid—and get rid of—bad breath.
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Avoid drinking too much coffee.
- Don't drink too much alcohol.Â
- Don't smoke.Â
- Chew sugarless gum, which WebMD says can help reduce cavities, too.
- Use sugar-free mints in moderation, and avoid sugary mints.
