Let Patch help you. Our friendly Patch editors will plug you in to the power of Patch and sharing information online.

Patch is hosting a free community workshop at Libertyville’s Cook Park Library to answer your questions and more at 7 p.m. May 23.

If you would like an event like this hosted in a town closer to your Patch town, feel free to e-mail the Local Editor listed at the top of your Patch page or contact Tara Tesimu at tara@patch.com.

We will show you step-by-step how to:

• Set up a Patch account
• Upload content and photos
• Pitch your idea to Patch editors
• Put events on the calendar
• Have your own community forum page.

We will also be discussing Patch’s new "Local Voices" platform, so if you like to write and are passionate about your community, join us at the event.

You bring your laptop (if you have one; no worries if you don't) and we'll bring snacks and free Patch stuff for you.
