Fireworks Could Be Coming To Libertyville High Football Games
The Libertyville Village Board will vote Tuesday on a fireworks permit application to allow the fireworks displays this football season.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville High School Wildcat Parents Association is requesting permission from the village to allow fireworks displays at home football games at Libertyville High School this fall.
If approved, the fireworks displays will take place during half time at games on Aug. 25 and Sept. 1 and during the national anthem before games on Sept. 14, Oct. 6 and Oct. 20, according to village documents.
The WFPA has retained the services of Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to handle the fireworks, and Mad Bomber has submitted all the required permit information, which was reviewed and has been approved by the Libertyville Fire Department, according to village board documents.

The fire department will provide one ambulance for stand-by at all home football games, which will be reimbursed by the high school, and notification will be made to all residents living within 1000 feet of the display as required by village, according to village documents.
The village board of trustees is set to meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at village hall, 118 W. Cook Avenue, Libertyville.
