Village Employees Receive Small Pay Raise
All non-union, full-time and part-time employees for the Village of Libertyville will receive a 1 percent pay increase.

Village trustees recently approved a 1 percent pay adjustment to the employee pay plan for all non-union, full-time and permanent part-time employees, effective Nov. 1, 2011.
“I think this is the right thing to do at this time, as we asked our employees, particular our non-union employees, to take a lot of pain back during the economic malaise in 2008 and 2009, I’m glad to say, again, that we have some breathing room to make up for some lost time,” Trustee Richard Moras said during a recent board meeting. “As we start this year we are able to reduce furlough days and as we continue with our economic growth I think it’s important that we are fair to all of our employees.”
The total coast for the rate adjustment is estimated to be about $38,000, according to village documents.
