Libertyville Dessert Walk Returns In August
The 10th annual MainSweet Dessert Walk will run from 12 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 3 in downtown Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL â MainStreet Libertyville will host its annual dessert walk in early August.
The 10th annual MainSweet Dessert Walk will run from 12 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 3 during the Festival of the Arts festival in downtown Libertyville, according to a news release from MainStreet Libertyville.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Ticket holders will receive a dessert sample at each of the 13 participating locations. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance since the popular summer event typically sells out, according to MainStreet Libertyville officials.

Tickets can be purchased on the MainStreet Libertyville website.
Attendees can pick up their event ticket with a map of participating shops and restaurants at the MainStreet Libertyville tent, which will located at Cook Park near Church Street starting at 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 3.

The event begins at noon when ticket holders can begin their walk through downtown Libertyville to sample tasty desserts at several downtown merchants, according to a news release.
Participating downtown Libertyville merchants include Allure Designs Salon + Boutique, As Above So Below, Bootery Boutique, Duck Donuts, The Joyful Gourmet, Main Street Social, Maison Chic, Oh Olive!, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Rolland's Jewelers, Sugarville, Sweet Home Gelato and Twelve Paws Pet Supply.
There will be free parking available in two covered parking garages on Lake Street and Church Street. More information on the festivals can be found on the village of Libertyville website.
