Libertyville Kids Raising Money For Condell's Coronavirus Fight

When and where you can support the cause and purchase snow cones and popcorn from this young group's social-distanced "6-foot stand."

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A group of Libertyville friends will come together Friday to raise money for Advocate Condell Medical Center's fight against the coronavirus. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, a group of neighborhood kids in the 800 block of Lake Street will be selling snow cones and popcorn from their social-distanced "6-foot stand" (with some help from adults on-hand).

Dog walkers, runners and anyone passing by the kids' stand (across the street from Butler Lake) during those hours can purchase a snow cone for $1 and/or popcorn for $0.50.

These children are an example of the ongoing support being shown across Lake County and the Chicago area for essential workers, healthcare centers and businesses.
