2 Incumbents, 1 Newcomer Lead In Libertyville Village Board Race

Polls have closed in Lake County and election results are being tallied for several local races.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Five candidates were vying for three open seats on the Libertyville Village Board in Tuesday's local election.

Polls have closed in Lake County and results are being tallied for the village board race, and other local races. In the Libertyville Village Board race incumbents Katherine "Casey" Rooney and Matthew Krummick were challenged by newcomers Patrick Scheibler, Kara Macdonald and Andrew Herrmann.

As of 8 p.m., here is a look at the unofficial results that have been tallied:

  • Katherine "Casey" Rooney: 1,884 (24.31%)
  • Matthew Krummick: 1,490 (19.23%)
  • Patrick Scheibler: 1,400 (18.07%)
  • Kara Macdonald: 1,572 votes (20.29%)
  • Andrew Herrmann: 1,403 votes (18.11%)

All results tallied on election night are unofficial. Official results are not tallied until all provisional and vote-by-mail ballots are in and counted, and then certified, usually 14 days after Election Day.
