Emily Fisher signed her letter of intent Wednesday.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A Libertyville senior has received her fair share of college offers and this week made her decision to play basketball for the University of Maryland.

The 6-foot 1-inch wing received her first Division 1 offer to Iowa State before she even started high school and the offers have continued to roll in for Fisher, who is one of the state's best players, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. She visited College Park, her fifth unofficial visit, she knew it was the right fit.
“The way they play is the way I play: fast-paced,” Fisher said.
