Man, 34, Killed In Waukegan Crash: Coroner
The collision happened in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Amstutz Expressway on Sunday night.
WAUKEGAN, IL — A 34-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Waukegan Sunday night.
The collision happened in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Amstutz Expressway at 11:59 p.m. when a Chevrolet Malibu hit a guardrail on the north side of the intersection, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.
The driver of the Malibu, who has been identified as Quincharles Hayes, was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary results from an autopsy show Hayes, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died from blunt force injuries os the head and neck as a result of a crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Waukegan Police Department and the Major Crash Assistance Team of Lake County.
