MUNDELEIN, IL — A new microbrewery will be coming to the area.

The Mundelein Village Board on Monday approved the sale of a former municipal building at 428 N. Chicago Avenue in downtown Mundelein, as well as some vacant land adjacent to the property, to a limited liability company that has plans to open Fenton's Brewing Company, according to the Daily Herald. The building houses the nonprofit Mundelein Tool Library, which will now have to move.

The village will receive $450,000 as part of the sale, and the village has agreed to allow the tool library to store its tools for free in a village-owned building on Archer Avenue, according to the article.
