Pharmacy to Host Animal Meet and Greet
You could meet the newest furry addition to your family at an animal "meet and greet" at Petranek's Pharmacy Saturday.

In recognition of April being Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month, Animal Education Animal Rescue (AEAR) is hosting a pet adoption meet and greet from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Petranek’s Pharmacy in Libertyville.
The event is part of an effort to raise awareness of animal abuse and neglect in Lake County.
"We will have variety of adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits for folks to meet, view and pet," said Sandy Kamen Wisniewski, founder of AEAR.

A small animal anti-cruelty exhibit will be on display. In addition, each person who attends the event will receive an orange ribbon pin to support April’s "Go Orange for Animals" campaigns.
"Stop Animal Cruelty" T-shirts will be available for purchase. Refreshments will also be served.

"We encourage everyone to join us in saying that we will not tolerate the abuse or neglect of animals," said Wisnieski. "Together we can improve the lives of animals in every corner of our county and our country."
