Police Investigate Shootings in Libertyville, Green Oaks
Authorities from the Lake County Sheriff's Office are looking for answers after two investigating two reports of area gunfire.

Investigators from the Lake County Sheriff's Office were looking into two recent shootings Tuesday that resulted in property damage in unincorporated Libertyville and Green Oaks.
No one was injured in the July 2 incidents, according to The Chicago Tribune, despite that in the Libertyville shooting, two bullets hit a house in the 30000 block of North Oak Grove Avenue.
"After finding shell casings on the road, officers believed the shots were fired on Route 137 from a person in a car ..." the story said, of the 3:30 a.m. report.

The Green Oaks gunfire occurred around 8 a.m. in the 14000 block of King Court. Police said they were contacted by a homeowner who found rounds in his driveway and garage.
Investigators told The Chicago Tribune that they believe the bullets came from the same gun that was fired on Route 137.
