Poll: The Most Romantic Restaurants In The Libertyville Area Are ...

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — With Valentine's Day right around the corner, popular restaurants that have a great ambiance and delicious dishes and drinks will be booking up for the holiday.

We recently reached out to readers to share their go-to spots in the area for a romantic night out and the results are in. In the Libertyville area, the Board Room, 137 Lake Street, received the most positive reviews from readers.

"The ambience is seductive, the cuisine is fresh and innovative, and the servers are invested in assuring a memorable experience," a Patch.com reader wrote in response to our Most Romantic Restaurants survey. "The owner, Liz, makes you feel welcome and appreciated."

Another reader complimented the "great ambiance, wonderful plates to share, and phenomenal cocktails."

Milwalky Trace, at 545 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville, also topped readers' suggestions. One reader said the restaurant has "great food and drinks with a downtown feel."

"Food is for sure the best in town. The atmosphere and staff are also some of the best around," said Adam White of Libertyville.

Nirvana Wine & Grillierie at 701 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills also received rave reviews from readers for its ambiance, great food and wine selection. The restaurant has "exquisitely prepared food, with expert wine pairings," one reader wrote.

Runners up in our survey include: Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Gurnee, The Vine Martini and Wine Bar in Grayslake, The Tavern in Libertyville and Firkin in Libertyville.
