Restaurant With 100 Beers On Draft Planned For Hawthorn Redevelopment

VERNON HILLS, IL — A restaurant that features 100 draft beers on tap could be coming to Vernon Hills as part of the Hawthorn mall redevelopment project.

The Daily Herald is reporting plans to add a Yard House along Milwaukee Avenue — on the southernmost of three out-lots — is nearing official approval. There are currently about 80 Yard House restaurants nationwide, and the Vernon Hills location would have about 290 indoor seats and seating for 80 outdoors on the seasonal patio, which would also include a beer garden.
