During the first delivery, Dean possessed and delivered 50-200 grams of a substance containing psilocybin mushrooms.
The next three times involved Dean possessing and delivering 1-15 grams of cocaine each time, the complaint said.
During the final time, Dean possessed and delivered 15-100 grams of cocaine, the complaint said.
Each of the five deals were presumably undercover buys coordinated by law enforcement because the case was investigated by the Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG).
The group is a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement task force investigating illegal drug trafficking and distribution, gang activity and weapon offenses.
All of the charges against Dean are felonies and the most serious charge is a Class X, which carries six to 30 years in prison.
A McHenry County arrest warrant was issued for Dean on Monday.
Dean is currently in custody at the Lake County Jail for another drug case in Lake County.
He was arrested by the Lake County Sheriffâs Office on August 18 and charged with manufacturing or delivery of 15-100 grams of cocaine, possession of 15-100 grams of cocaine, manufacturing or delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis and possession of 100-500 grams of cannabis.
Jail records show Dean is being held on a $500,000 bond.
