Serious Accident Shuts Down Milwaukee Avenue Friday
Three people injured, two critically, after head-on collision.
 Two people suffered critical injuries Friday morning in a car wreck at Milwaukee Avenue and Casey Road near Libertyville at 9 a.m. Friday morning near Libertyville. A Chevy Blazer struck the back of a Jeep Cherokee on southbound Milwaukee Avenue and then swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting a Chevrolet Silverado pickup, according to authorities. The driver and passenger in the Blazer are at Advocate Condell Medical Center in critical condition. Milwaukee Avenue between Route 120 and Route 137 has been shut down for hours. The pickup truck driver also was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
