Sled Dogs, Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides At Winterfest

VERNON HILLS, IL — Bundle up and get ready for some fun this weekend at Century Park in Vernon Hills.

Winterfest will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the arboretum in Century Park, 1400 Indianwood Drive in Vernon Hills, according to the park district website.

There will be winter activities for all ages and those stopping out can see a sled dog team in action, enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride and toast a s’more over the fire. This free event is for all ages.

Ice skating and sledding will be available if weather permits.
