Sunshine, Comet Pan-STARRS May be Seen This Week
What's the weather forecast for this week, including St. Patrick's Day?

If you've been hoping for warmer temperatures, this is the week you've been waiting for—sort of.
OK, so it's not going to be balmy this week. But after temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s, 40 degrees definitely sounds warmer to me. And there's no significant snowfall expected.
Temperatures will hover near 40 most of the week, and there's even a high of 43 forecast for Friday! Heat wave!
The week will start off with a chance of rain before 1 p.m. on Monday, then a 30 percent chance of snow. The forecast high is 37 on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago.
Tuesday will again see a 30 percent chance of snow showers after 1 p.m., with a high near 35.
Then, bring on the sunshine—for a couple of days, at least. Both Wednesday and Thursday should see partly sunny skies, with a high near 37 on Wednesday and 40 on Thursday.
Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 43, but there's also a slight chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service.
There's a chance of showers again on Saturday, with a high near 39.
St. Patrick's Day, which is also the birthday of my idol, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, will see a high near 38 and a chance of showers.
Comet Pan-STARRS?
Here's one last tidbit for the week. You might be able to spot Comet Pan-STARRS in the early evening sky! Space.com says to look for it near the western horizon after sunset, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"On those evenings, the thin crescent moon will be close to the comet in the sky," according to Space.com.
If you spot it, let me know! I'll be watching for it, too!
Have a great week, everyone!
