Wheaton Man Dies in I-94 Crash in Gurnee
Andrew Wilcox was pronounced dead after the Sunday evening crash.

Andrew Wilcox, 18, of Wheaton, died after a crash on Interstate 94 in Gurnee at 7:13 p.m. Sunday, the Daily Herald reports.
The crash occurred near Route  120, and Wilcox was taken to Advocate  Condell Medical  Center  in  Libertyville where he was pronounced dead, the Daily Herald reports. The Lake County Coroner’s Office said he died of multiple traumatic injuries.

Authorities told the Daily Herald there were no signs of alcohol in Wilcox's system. The crash remains under investigation.
Wilcox had a passenger who had minor injuries and refused medical treatment, the Daily Herald reports.
