Woman, 34, Dies After Jump From 10th Floor Of Building: Coroner

WAUKEGAN, IL — A woman in her 30s is dead after she jumped from the 10th floor of an apartment complex in Waukegan Wednesday night.

On Friday, the Lake County Coroner's Office identified the woman as Chiquita Quinn, 34, of Waukegan, according to the news release from the coroner's office.

Quinn died after jumping from the 10th floor of Lakeside Tower Apartments, at 200 Julian Street in Waukegan, at about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the news release. The woman was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where she was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

Results from an autopsy show Quinn died from blunt force injuries consistent with a jump from a height, according to a news release.

Police say there are no signs of foul play associated with the woman's death, and the incident remains under investigation.
