Chocolate Weekend Returns To Morton Arboretum

The event features artisanal chocolates and other sweet treats on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

LISLE, IL — Artisanal chocolates, toffee and other sweat treats will be available to sample and buy at Morton Arboretum's 2026 Chocolate Weekend Expo. The two-day event runs Jan. 31 through Feb. 1, with an exclusive member event planned for Jan. 30.

Local chocolatiers and cacao experts will conduct presentations about the history of chocolate and the process of chocolate-making, including how cacao beans are harvested. Click the link to learn more and register to attend a presentation.

The cost to attend one of the days of the Chocolate Weekend Expo is included with admission to Morton Arboretum.

At the exclusive member event on Jan. 30, arboretum members pay $25 for a sneak peek at the Expo. Attendees who are 21 and older get a complimentary white chocolate with Nocino, hot chocolate with Bailey's or a beer or wine.
