Christmas Tree Recycling Begins For 2026 Season In Lisle
Residents can leave their holiday greens out for collection on Jan. 7.
LISLE, IL — With Christmas 2025 in the rearview mirror, residents in Lisle can start thinking about unloading their holiday trees.
Christmas tree collection began in Lisle on Dec. 31 and will also take place on Jan. 7. Trees will be picked up during your normal refuse pickup days and times. No stickers are required for collection on Jan. 7.
Residents should follow these steps to ensure their trees get collected.

- Remove garland, lights, tinsel and other decorations
- Do not bag your tree
- Take your tree to the curb before your scheduled trash pickup
- Leave your tree at the curb by 6 a.m.
Residents who miss the deadline must use a trash sticker for Christmas tree collection.
