Police: Man Robs Ogden Avenue Kmart Seeking Narcotics

At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Naperville Police said a man entered Kmart seeking drugs from the pharmacy.

A man demanding drugs from the pharmacy at Kmart early Thursday got away with an undisclosed amount of two narcotics, according to .

Around 9:30 a.m., police said a man entered the Kmart on Ogden Avenue and showed a note at the pharmacy counter demanding certain drugs from the pharmacy, Sgt. John Westlove said. 

“The [pharmacy technician] gave the man an undisclosed amount of Fentanyl and Oxycodone. He fled from the store through the parking lot eastbound,” Westlove said.

The man did not display a weapon during the robbery, he said. He is described as a white male, 18 to 25 years old, 6-feet-tall with a medium build and a tattoo on his face below his left eye, Westlove said. He was wearing dark clothing.

Police will be putting out a sketch of the man, which one of the witnesses was able to provide. No video was available from Kmart, Westlove said, but police are still checking any other nearby surveillance cameras.
