Thompson, 47 (thejournal-news.net) — Litchfield readers are saying goodbye to Brian Thomas Thompson, whose arrangements are being handled by Plummer Funeral Home and whose parents, son, and sister all live in Litchfield. The 47-year-old Highland resident, born in Hillsboro, loved the outdoors, fishing, dancing, animals, and time with his family. A celebration of life will be held later.
   

• Richard Kroll (riverbender.com) — Litchfield residents may remember Richard Mark Kroll for his work with the city’s animal control and through his son’s family in Litchfield. The 56-year-old Eagarville resident, a semi driver for M & M Service, enjoyed music and family time. No public services are planned, but condolences can be shared online.
