• Federal Jury Convicts Former Suburban Chicago Police Chief of Bribery and Obstruction of Justice (einpresswire.com) — A former suburban police chief who lives in Lockport has been convicted in federal court of bribery and obstruction of justice tied to a liquor license scheme in Summit. Jurors found him guilty of taking cash from a businessman and later trying to influence a colleague’s account of the payment during a federal investigation, with sentencing set for March 2026.
