Arrest Warrant Issued For Accused Harley Motorcycle 'Tipper' At Manhattan Bar: Police
Police had hoped the Elwood man would turn himself in. He hadn't as of Aug. 19.

MANHATTAN, IL — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Elwood man wanted in connection with tipping over and damaging motorcycles outside a Manhattan bar late last month.
Alex Pullara, 34, has been identified as the person seen seated at the bar at Fritz's Saloon, 225 S. State St., and then again outside the bar, tipping over two motorcycles on July 31, police said.
The bike battery caused more than $10,000 in damage combined, Manhattan police said. Pullara will be charged with criminal damage to property.

"If anybody can identify this individual, we would like to speak to him," the department shared on its Facebook page, along with two surveillance images of Pullara inside the bar, "No, it's not about his drinking choices, but rather why he felt it was necessary to tip over two Harley Davidsons and flee."
The post spread quickly, with nearly 800 shares and more than 200 comments. It worked.
"We had hoped Pullara would surrender to police since he was quickly identified after going all 'Tippy McTipperson,'" Manhattan police said on social media. "However, he has failed to do so."
A Will County judge on Tuesday signed off on the warrant for Pullara's arrest. Police were expected to take him into custody Tuesday.
