New COVID-19 Vaccine Available At Will County Health Department Locations
The vaccine is available at the Will County Health Department Immunization Clinic and at the Will County Community Health Center.
WIL COUNTY — The Will County Health Department is offering the new 2025-26 COVID-19 vaccine at several locations, officials announced on Tuesday.
The vaccine is available at the Will County Health Department Immunization Clinic and at the Will County Community Health Center.
COVID Vaccines at the WCHD Immunization Clinic
The WCHD Immunization Clinic has the COVID-19 vaccine available for all ages six month and older at all three of its following locations:

- Joliet at the Main Office of the Will County Health Department (501 Ella Avenue)
- Monee at the Eastern Branch Office (5601 W. Monee-Manhattan Road)
- Bolingbrook at the Northern Branch Office (323 Quadrangle Drive)
Vaccines are available to residents with Medicaid or Medicare. Limited private insurance plans are also accepted while low-cost vaccines are available for the uninsured or underinsured.

COVID Vaccines at the Will County Community Health Center
The Will County Community Health Center is offering the COVID-19 vaccine for ages six month and older at the Joliet location at 1106 Neal Ave.

The Will County Health Department and Community Health Center are following the standing order issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health in September. The standing order recommends COVID vaccinations for the following:
- All children ages 6 months through 23 months.
- Children ages 2 years through 17 years in the following risk categories (Self-attestation of risk by the parent/guardian is acceptable.):
- Persons at high risk of severe COVID-19
- Residents of long-term care facilities or other congregate settings
- Persons who have never been vaccinated against COVID-19
- Persons whose household contacts are at high risk for severe COVID-19.
- Children ages 2 years through 17 years based on shared clinical decision-making if not included in a risk group but whose parent or guardian desires their protection from COVID-19. The child’s physician is part of the decision, and the child must have an order from a doctor to receive the COVID vaccine if they are ages 2 years through 17 years and are not in a risk group.
- All individuals who are or will be pregnant, during any trimester of pregnancy, postpartum, or during lactation.
- All adults ages 18 years or older.
