Car Hit By Gunfire On I-57 In Monee: State Police
The shooting happened on I-57 southbound near Monee Wednesday afternoon, state police said. No one was injured.
MONEE, IL — A car was hit by gunfire late Wednesday afternoon on I-57 southbound near Manhattan-Monee Road, Illinois State Police said Thursday.
At approximately 3:55 p.m., Illinois State Police were notified of a possible expressway shooting on I-57 southbound at mile marker 331, near the Manhattan-Monee exit.
Police canvassed the area for shell casings, according to scanner reports.
