Manhattan Community Garage Sale Registration Closes Friday

MANHATTAN, IL — One household declutters items and makes a few bucks, another household adds a few items without having to pay big bucks. It's the circle of life we call garage sales, and the Village of Manhattan is accepting registrations for its community wide garage sale.

The community wide garage sale is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9-10. There is no cost to register for the event.

Those who register will be added to a map that will be available to the public Sept. 6 and can be picked up at Manhattan Village Hall, Whitmore ACE Hardware and Berkot’s.

Registration forms are due by Friday. Forms can be downloaded by following this link.

Completed forms can be faxed to (815) 478-5103, emailed to slewis@villageofmanhattan.org or dropped off in person at Village Hall, 260 Market Place.
