Mental Health Day At HHH Ranch Friday
Hands, Hooves and Hope Ranch is Pairing with ForeverU to educate public about mental health issues in children and teens.
MANHATTAN, IL — Hands, Hooves and Hope Ranch is partnering with ForeverU to host a free mental health day from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Ranch, located at 14101 W. Bruns Road in Manhattan.
"It is essential to talk about mental health with children and teens, and mental health day at the Ranch will do just that," HHH Ranch wrote in a news release. "By creating an environment open for tough conversations, families will walk away from the event with numerous tools to deal with mental health on a daily basis."
The event is scheduled to include: a question-and-answer session with three mental health professionals; wellness stations hosted by ForeverU to teach tools and strategies for dealing with mental health issues; and wellness stations hosted by HHH Ranch, including a petting zoo and pony rides.
