Registration Open Now For Manhattan's Next Village-wide Garage Sale

MANHATTAN, IL — Registration is open now for anyone looking to clean out their garage, basement, attic—wherever your stuff accumulates—and make a little cash in the process.

Manhattan's Community-wide Garage Sale is set for Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale takes place at homes throughout Manhattan. Items offered up for sale can include household goods, tools, toys, furniture, clothing, and miscellaneous. Sellers may participate one or both days, and may select different hours. Rain or shine, the sale is on!

To participate, fill out the registration form and return it to the Village of Manhattan, 260 Market Place by Friday, Sept. 5.

Listings will be printed on a community garage sale map which will be available for pickup starting Monday, Sept. 8 at:

The sale will be advertised in the Herald News and other local community newspapers to help bring shoppers to your sale.
