Village Of Manhattan Hiring For Seasonal Laborers
The Public Works Department has openings for seasonal work.
MANHATTAN, IL — The Village of Manhattan is accepting applications for seasonal openings.
The public works department is hiring for temporary summer help, starting in May through August, working 20 to 40 hours per week. Duties include, but are not limited to; painting, basic road maintenance, litter removal, grass cutting, basic landscaping and general carpentry.
The department is also hiring for its mowing crew. The pay rate is $15/hour. Duties include mowing and weed-whacking.
