MANHATTAN, IL — The Village of Manhattan is gearing up for its Labor Day Party, and volunteers are needed to help run the various activities during the party.
Volunteers can help monitor the inflatables, games and hayrack rides, the pet station or by emptying garbage cans, according to a Facebook post from the Village.
High school students can earn community service hours before graduation by volunteering. Volunteers can work shifts between two-and-a-half and five-and-a-half hours, according to the post.
