Water Damage Closes Manhattan Township Historical Society Museum

The museum is closed for repairs until further notice, staff said.

MANHATTAN, IL — The Manhattan Township Historical Society Museum is closed temporarily, after a leak caused water damage. None of the artifacts were damaged, staff said.

The society on Tuesday said that a leak from the upstairs caused damage to the downstairs, closing the museum for repairs until further notice.

All April open dates are cancelled, staff said. April Memory Clippers project days are also canceled.
