Noonan Academy hosted its annual chess tournament, a highly sought after competition in the south suburbs of Chicago with student representatives from St. Alphonsus and St. Patrick, St. Cletus, Cardinal Bernadine, Hinckley Big Rock, Everest Academy, Joliet Checkmate Crew, St. Therese, and St. Jude, in addition to Noonan Academy in attendance.

Kindergarten through first grade results for Noonan Academy included Peter Gehrman in 6th place, Finn Koseck in 8th place, Gabriel Siwinski in 14th place, Genevieve Brandt in 16th place, and Emmett Urbaniak in 17th place out of twenty-seven participants. The Noonan Academy team placed first overall in kindergarten through first grade.

Second through third grade results for Noonan Academy included Max Connery in 3rd place, Philip Akkawi in 15th place, James Nelson in 21st place, Grace Akkawi in 25th place, Grayson Simmons in 27th place, Braylon Spraggins in 31st place, Mia Graham in 36th place, Louis Holuj in 37th place, Elianna Curtner in 44th place, Tristan Chen in 45th place, Demond King in 47th place, Nhyira Afrifah in 48th place, Isabell Mueller in 49th place, and Zuri Banks in 50th place out of fifty participants. The Noonan Academy team placed third overall in second through third grade.

Fourth through fifth grade results for Noonan Academy included Bingham Wozny in 13th place, Daxton Radja in 18th place, Ava Chen in 20th place, Scarlett Koseck in 24th place, Mayra Akkawi in 26th place, Ting Wu in 36th place, and Demi Radja in 37th place out of thirty-eight participants. The Noonan Academy team placed third overall in fourth through fifth grade.

Sixth through eighth grade results for Noonan Academy included Jake Chen in 4th place, Michael Wu in 7th place, Matthew Krutul in 10th place, William Kush in 16th place, and Diego Grajales, Jr. in 18th place out of eighteen participants. The Noonan Academy team placed first overall in sixth through eighth grade.
