Woman Fired Gun During Domestic Dispute, Endangered Child: Police
29-year-old Ashley Medina was charged with two misdemeanors and two felonies, including reckless discharge of a firearm

MONTGOMERY, IL — A 29-year-old woman was arrested earlier this month in connection with a domestic disturbance incident in which a gun was fired, the Kane County State's Attorney's Office announced.
Police arrested Ashley Medina, of Rockford, after responding to a 5:40 a.m. domestic disturbance call on July 2 in Montgomery. Originally, two people were arrested, and a firearm was recovered, police said in a statement. But after questioning, the other person was released with no charges.
No injuries were reported, but Medina is charged with endangering the health and safety of a child along with two felonies including reckless discharge of a firearm.

The incident took place at an apartment on the 100 block of East Mill Street.
