2 Saved After Fire Breaks Out In Garage Of Naperville Home

NAPERVILLE, IL — Two people were saved from a home after a fire broke out in a garage in the 1300 block of East Bailey Road Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were alerted around 3:30 p.m. after smoke was seen coming from the home's garage. Once they got to the scene, fire crews helped the two residents who were inside the home get out safely. One person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The fire was put out within 15 minutes, according to a news release. It's estimated the fire cause $50,000 in damage to the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
