5 Charged With Burglary After Retail Theft At Ulta In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Five people face felony charges in connection with a retail theft at the Ulta store on Aurora Avenue in Naperville.

Anthony R. Cordero, 23, Felix G. Perez-Rivero, 32, Argenis J. Andrades-Lunares, 25, Handerson J. Castillo-Rodriguez, 25, Reinier A. Martinez-Molina, 23, all of Chicago, were charged with burglary in connection with the June 11 incident.

Officers were called to the store at 2707 Aurora Ave. just before 8 p.m. for a report of a retail theft. Shortly after, police pulled over a car on Ogden Avenue that matched the description of the vehicle that had been involved in the burglary. Police say evidence was found in the car that justified the burglary charges.

In a statement, Naperville Police Chief Jason Arres said, "This was excellent work by the initial responding patrol officers who were able to immediately disseminate the suspect vehicle information, which in turn allowed our other patrol officers to locate and apprehend these subjects.”
