$50 Rebates Available To Residents Who Buy Electric Lawn Equipment

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville is hoping to encourage residents to make more sustainable lawn maintenance choices by offering a $50 rebate for buying electric lawn equipment. The rebate will apply to battery-powered lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and similar items.

The initiative, which kicked off in 2022, is part of the city's Sustainability Incentives and Rebates program. Refunds will be available for applicable purchases made between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2023.

To be considered for a rebate, residents must provide their purchase receipt and complete an online application for the Electric Lawn Equipment Rebate Program.
