Adopt Me! Chickpea, Bonnie, Brandi and Stanley

If you are considering opening your home to a bundle of fur, these are just a few of the adoptable pets seeking homes.

Chickpea is a 2-year-old, female Pekingese mix who was found all alone, wandering the streets of Naperville.  She’s a pint size cutie who loves to be around people and get as much attention as possible.  She’s good with other dogs, but is terrified of cats and would prefer not to live with any feline friends.  Kids in Chickpea’s new home should be old enough to understand she is very small and has to be handled with care and respect.  This sweet little dog is sure to be adopted quickly, so stop by and visit with her soon!

Bonnie is a 2-½-year-old domestic shorthair.  She’s a sleek and beautiful polydactyl cat (you may be able to spot one of her mitten paws in the photo).  She came to the shelter after her previous owner moved and couldn’t take her with.  She’s a very affectionate cat and often seeks people out to be petted.  She gets along well with other cats and may even enjoy living with a cat savvy dog.  Stop by soon to meet this all around great kitty and give her a high five!

More dogs and cats are available at the . All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Brandi is a 4-year-old female medium haired calico mix.  She is all you could ask for in a companion and more.  She is cute, pretty sweet, frisky, gets along with other cats, loves pets and attention and is looking for her forever lap and home.  Come meet her and see for yourself.

Stanley is a fawn and black Puggle who came to with his two doggie siblings because their owner could no longer care for them.  Stanley is 5 years old and has quite the personality.  He's a bit nervous at first, but once he warms up to you he's your best friend.  He's a complete lap dog and will eat up all the attention and affection you give him.  Stanley walks well on a leash and is housetrained.
