An Arizona man faces multiple charges in connection with a theft that took place at an Apple store in Naperville.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A man from Arizona was released from custody Friday after police say he stole three iPhones from an Apple store in Naperville and fled officers by car.
Khyree Mosley, 24, was charged with felony retail theft, felony burglary, and misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer in connection with the Jan. 1 incident.
Police were called to the Apple store at 120 W. Jefferson Ave. just before 4:30 p.m. for a report of a man stealing merchandise. According to police, Mosley fled in a white Chevy Equinox and continued to flee after an officer in a marked Naperville squad car tried to pull him over.

Mosley was arrested in Minooka around 9 p.m. that night and was released on his own recognizance Friday morning, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
"Make no mistake, even though the holiday season is now in the rear-view mirror, law enforcement in DuPage County remains vigilant, and we will continue to go after those who mistakenly believe they can come here, help themselves to whatever they like and simply leave," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.

He added, "Burlgary and retail theft are not victimless crimes. We all bear the cost in the form of higher prices lost revenue and wages, reduced local economic investment and a lost sense of security."
Mosley is set to appear in court on Feb. 11.
