Adopt Me! Miranda, Mr. Ed, Princess and Peanut
These are just a few of the adoptable animals waiting for homes at area animal shelters.
Mr. Ed was found in a dumpster before being brought to He is a 6-8 months old smooth coat Collie mix. He currently weighs 30 lbs and is still growing. He’s a quiet and playful puppy. Mr. Ed is very sweet and loves attention and companionship. He gets along with other dogs.
Miranda is a very laid back longhaired Tortie mix. When it comes to relationships she is very levelheaded, some might say shy. Give her a little time and she’ll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. Miranda is an attractive girl both in looks and personality and she has so much love to give. Stop by the shelter to see her, you won’t be disappointed.

Princess is a 2-year-old black female domestic shorthair. She came to when her owner’s landlord wouldn’t allow her to stay. Although her name may imply royalty, she is as sweet and down-to-earth as they come. Princess is quiet and affectionate, but does enjoy a rousing game of laser pointer every now and then. Princess enjoys the company of most other cats and wouldn’t mind living with a cat savvy dog either. One look at her cute (somewhat short) tail and you’ll be sure to fall in love with this kitty!
Peanut is a 5-year-old male rat terrier. This playful pup enjoys spending time with people and playing with toys. One of the cutest rat terriers NAHS has ever seen, Peanut is sure to catch your eye and your heart. Peanut lived with children in his previous home and would be fine with kids of all ages. Because Peanut prefers the company of his human companions, he should be an only pet. This adorable little guy is sure to catch your eye, so come meet him today!
