Cops Dole Out More Than 60 Tickets During Traffic Safety Crackdown In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police issued more than 60 traffic tickets and one arrest during a recent safety crackdown that spanned the 2025-26 winter holidays.

The following citations were issued:

  • 39 seatbelt tickets
  • 14 distracted driving tickets
  • 9 speeding tickets

The safety campaign, which began Dec. 12 and wrapped up Jan. 5, was part of the statewide "Click It or Ticket," "Drive High. Get a DUI" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" initiatives.
